Using the Rule Of Thirds when creating your photos brings life to your images. Think of the Rule Of Thirds as a tic-tac-toe grid placed on the subject / scene you are photographing. We naturally place the subject in the "center square". There is nothing wrong with this, many party photos are shot this way. However, by placing the subject in the "center square" a very flat photo is created. There is no depth or real interest in the photo. But, if you place your subject mostly to the "center left or center right" areas of the grid, your instantly create depth and an all around interesting photo. You will create better images just by placing your subject into other areas of the photo. So remember to move around when taking your next photograph and change the position of your subject within the frame.
